Corrupt File on Boot

 

 Place your operating system cdrom in it's drive
 
Select boot into command prompt
 
To restore the corrupt file, type the following and change the red filename to match  the corrupt file:
 
expand d:\i386\ntoskrnl.ex_ c:\windows\system32
